Masterpiece! Ikiru can hit you on an emotional level, but real power of this movie is that it will make you think about the way you live your life, about your work and decisions. I know that I'm thinking about all that now and that I probably won't change anything and end up like Kanji Watanabe. That makes me really sad...

Great, smart and complex Sci-Fi story, which can be a little confusing, but never boring, about cyborg Motoko which asks herself what makes us human. Movie that deserves and requires deep thinking and multiple viewings. Anime that inspired The Matrix and got inspired by Blade Runner, so if you like those movies, you'll might wanna check out Ghost in the Shell (Kôkaku Kidôtai).
